Okemo Chairlift

 Skiers and Riders enjoy Okemo Mountain Resorts new six-person bubble chair with heated seats. Passengers ride 6,430 feet to the summit in under seven minutes.
Okemo Mt. is located in southern Vermont and set American ski history with this new chairlift. It is the only 6 passenger chairlift in America with a bubble and heated seats.
This is the first protected chairlift to be installed at Okemo. General Manager Bruce Schmidt reports that skier feedback has been wonderful on their acceptance of the new lift.
Skiers report the ride warm and comfortable The 6.9 million dollar Sunburst Six chairlift and its bright orange bubbles carries 113 chairs at a speed of 1000 feet per minute and will serve skiers and riders at Okemo for many years.
