Cancun Golf Courses

Kukulcan Golf Club
This course is located directly across from the Hilton Hotel along the Hotel Zone’s main road. The rate is $125 for 18 holes until mid-afternoon when it drops to $100.

The nine hole rate is $65 at all times. The cart is included in the price and bottled water is provided gratis. They will also pick up and deliver you back by taxi from the Royal Resorts at no additional charge. Possibly others, so don’t hesitate to ask.

The Cancun Golf Club at Pok-Ta-Pok.

The rate for play is $100 and includes a cart, but no water. Transportation to and from the course Is not provided. Pok-Ta-Pok is located on a peninsula in the Hotel Zone just before the convention center.

The following courses were not played.

Playa Mujeres Golf Club.
It is located about twenty minutes to the north of Cancun. It is a Greg Norman designed course and is said to be quite nice. The listed rate is $135 before 12:30pm and $125 after. The rate includes the green fee, shared cart, water, use of the practice facility and supposedly, transportation to the club.

Iberostar Playa Paraiso.
This is a P. B. Dye designed course sporting a $130 green fee with or without transport.

Ask at your hotel is transportation is included in the rate. The rate also includes ”cart, food, and beverage.” After 2pm the fee drops to $95, but does not include transportation.

Par 72, rating 72.4, slope 136.

Riviera Cancun Golf Club.
This is a Jack Nicklaus newly designed par 72, 7,060 yard course located towards the end of the Hotel Zone next to Wet n’ Wild. The relatively high rate of $160 “includes transportation to and from your hotel, shared golf cart, food and drinks.” It sports bunkers and water holes, plus ocean views on holes #14 and #15.

Note: As the Cancun area continues to develop golfers can expect new courses to be constructed down the coast.
