And now we have da Vinci on display. What a great summer for art enthusiasts. The Exhibit will be at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and is one element of the Universal Leonardo. da Vinci’s work in art, science and technology. A series of linked exhibitions and scientific investigations will take place across Europe during summer 2006. Interest in da Vinci has been sparked by the book turned movie The Da Vinci Code. The exhibits run from September 14 through January 7, 2007 in a number of European cities. As an aside: Some of Leonardo’s inventions include: parachutes, submarines, swimming fins, dredging systems, water-well drill, swing bridges, cranes, pulley systems, street-lighting systems, mechanical saw, contact lenses and compasses.
