Swiss Charm by Dee Dee McKinney Skiing is a Swiss culture and a way of life for natives and visitors.
Switzerland’s mood is evidenced by its charisma and ambiance: ski towns and ski trains, the horse-drawn carriage, food and delicious cheese. A skiers paradise, from small quaint hotels to 5-star elegant luxury it is aglow with the romance of skiing. Yet with all this it retains the quaintness of the Alpine countryside.
Wide open slopes and off-slope skiing offer breathtaking views in the fresh untracked power and beauty of the back country. Switzerland typically offers skiing from village to village, before winding the way back to your hotel at the end of a memorable day! And, the celebration of the day which can begin in a small Swiss mountain hut with a glass of local wine or local “Poire Williams”, sharing ski stories in the Alps! Typical dinners of Swiss foods and fondues often highlight the tone of the evening ahead. When it is time to retire many hotels leave a sample of Swiss Chocolate on your pillow!
How delightful to have a Swiss Holiday in the Alps!!!
